Description
This is one of the most visually impressive antique diving boots we have ever handled. This pair of boots features a solid brass sole and a heavy leather upper. Copper rivets secure the leather to the brass sole. The heel of each boot features thick reinforced leather with copper rivets to secure the layers. Thick canvas straps with brass eyelets secure the diver’s feet. With age and use, some of the canvas straps are brittle, with one broken. Otherwise, these heavyweight boots are incredible display pieces! This set weighs approximately 36 pounds. All items will be shipped with a signature required upon delivery and full insurance either via FedEx or the USPS Priority Mail. Worldwide shipping is available; however, no ocean freight will be offered on large items. DHL Express is an option for international shipments under 600 pounds via air. Payment via bank wire for customers outside the USA is required. A shipping quote prior to the auction can be provided by emailing your postal code.
