Description
This is a very nice pair of antique cast iron diver’s shoes, boots, or sandals. Originally, these would have been strapped to leather boots to provide the diver with weight. These were found with an American diving helmet from the 1920s. Each shoe weighs approximately 13 pounds. No noticeable cracks or breaks are visible. No manufactuers stamps or names can be found. Styles like this were sold by A.J. Morse & Son, A. Schrader’s Son, and Alfred Hale. All items will be shipped with a signature required upon delivery and full insurance either via FedEx or the USPS Priority Mail. Worldwide shipping is available; however, no ocean freight will be offered on large items. DHL Express is an option for international shipments under 600 pounds via air. Payment via bank wire for customers outside the USA is required. A shipping quote prior to the auction can be provided by emailing your postal code.
