Many collectors are not aware that A.J. Morse made firefighting equipment in addition to diving gear. This is likely a early 20th Century brass firefighter hose ball valve. It is stamped at the base A.J. Morse & Son Inc. Boston Mass. The valve measures 4 inches long and weighs approximately 5 pounds. Unusual piece of A.J. Morse history.
