Description

This distinctive shallow water-style diving helmet was made by Key West Engineering of the Florida Keys. Constructed from a green-painted composite material, it is considerably lighter than traditional copper and brass helmets. The helmet features three circular viewing ports, lead weights bolted to the front and rear, and an attractive brass manufacturer’s identification plate.

The helmet remains in excellent overall condition, with no visible damage or significant issues. Its unusual construction and classic vintage appearance make it an outstanding nautical display piece.

Due to its contemporary construction, this helmet is being offered strictly as a collectible and should not be used for diving. A Certificate of Authenticity (COA) will not be issued.

All items will be shipped with a signature required upon delivery and full insurance either via FedEx or the USPS Priority Mail. Worldwide shipping is available; however, no ocean freight will be offered on large items. A shipping quote prior to the auction can be provided by emailing your postal code.

The display stand shown in the photos is not included. The option to purchase one after the auction will be provided.
