This is the classic United States Navy divers knife, commonly used in conjunction with the Mark V helmet. This example was made by Diving Equipment & Supply Company, aka DESCO. The brass sheath is stamped DESCO on the belt loop. All aspects of this knife are in like new condition, the blade shines with no signs of use. The wood handle and brass hardware are in wonderful condition. There is a little bit of oxidation on the inside rim of the sheath and base of the blade that can be cleaned off if so desired. A like new leather belt strap with chromed buckle is also present. Please refer to the photos for additional details.
