This is the classic United States Navy divers knife, commonly used in conjunction with the Mark V helmet. This example was made by Morse Diving Equipment with the Boston, MA address. The brass sheath is stamped MORSE DIVING EQUIP CO. INC. BOSTON MASS U.S.A. This type of Morse knife was produced during World War 2. The brass sheath is in very nice condition. The stainless steel blade is in good condition with a little bit of surface rust predominantly on one side. The wood handle is in good condition with typical signs of light use. The brass hardware is all in good condition. Please refer to the photos for additional details. International bidders are advised that some countries do not allow the importation of knives.
