Comex Pro was established in 1972 by its parent company Comex to service the growing underwater worldwide markets. Their abilities, equipment, and employees were the best in the industry. One of their seldom seen achievements was a diving helmet made of bronze and other materials. This helmet utilized the latest technology and innovations of the time.

This nearly 40 pound helmet was used by a UK based diving firm. It was put away decades ago in the condition you see presented. This helmet is an excellent original example of a COMEX PRO helmet rarely ever seen in the 21st century. The upper half of the helmet features a solid metal body. The lower half is a heavy, thick plastic. A vast majority of the external and internal hardware all appear to be present. The helmets metal body could easily be polished by hand to produce a unique brilliance not found on many helmets of this era. This is the first example we have ever handled.

All diving helmets in this auction will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Nations Attic. The certificate will have a unique number that will match the number on a tamperproof hologram decal placed inside the helmet. This information will be kept on permanent file at Nations Attic and help ensure the provenance of the helmet and authenticity. br>
