This is a very handsome nautical instrument in its original wood box. This sextant was made by Wilfred O’White’s Nautical Instruments in Boston, USA. The certificate of examination is still attached to the inside of the wood lid. The certificate is dated May 1918. All of the instruments components appear to be intact and in good condition. The box measures 11.25 inches wide, just under 10 inches deep and 5.25 inches tall. External brass hardware on wood is present. There appears to have once been a small plaque on the top of the box lid.
