This is an exceptional new old stock Morse Diving Equipment faceplate. This part fits on many 1940s era Morse commercial diving helmets. The threads measures 5 inches wide, overall width is 5.75 inches. Both knobs and glass are intact and in excellent original condition. Particularly rare is the original Morse Diving Equipment tag still attached to the part. This piece was recovered alongside the AJ Morse & Son diving helmet, which is also featured in this auction as Lot #87. The helmet and equipment were owned and used by the O.I. Carr Diving Company of Burlington, Vermont.
