This is a very nice example of a Ball Recording Sextant Mark 1 Mos 0. This one is dated 1944 and comes in its original hinged wood box with original US Naval Observatory Certificate of Eccentricity, dated August 5th, 1944. We have tested the sextant for accuracy, but it appears to be in excellent complete condition.
