Nations Attic 2026 Diving Into History + More
Lot 153:
Description
This is a circa World War 2 United States Navy standard diving knife typically used on conjunction with the Mark V diving helmet. This example does not have any manufacturers names on the brass sheath or stainless-steel blade. The brass sheath is somewhat atypical with a thicker body towards the top. The leather belt strap and buckle are present. The wood handle is in nice condition. The tip of the blade has been removed, possibly for sponge or abalone diving purposes. All items will be shipped with a signature required upon delivery and full insurance either via FedEx or the USPS Priority Mail. Worldwide shipping is available; however, no ocean freight will be offered on large items. Payment via bank wire for customers outside the USA is required. A shipping quote prior to the auction can be provided by emailing your postal code. International bidders are advised that some countries do not allow the importation of knives. Nations Attic is not responsible for shipping charges going or coming back if your country’s customs denies delivery. Rejected items can be consigned into a future sale as there are no refunds.
