Description
This is an original World War 2 era non-return valve made by A. Schrader’s Son. These were mandatory equipment on a Mark V helmet. They were threaded to the air fitting and prevented a sudden loss of air in the helmet if the air line was cut. This valve features a US Navy inspection stamp, proving it was accepted into USN inventory during World War 2. If your Mark V helmet is missing one of these, it’s a must-have piece!
