Description

In the world of commercial diving in the 1970s and 1980s, Miller helmets were considered one of the jewels in the industry. Constructed with a solid bronze shell these helmets have a unique appearance and durability to last forever. Starting in 1982 Ben Miller came out with the 400 series. This series would be made for the remainder of the 20th Century and beyond.

This helmet was in use up until the 2010s. There is an inspection sticker on the on the back from Jack Vilas in Morgan City, LA. The original black paint on the body is long gone, exposing the impressive cast bronze shell. Neck ring and neck dam is present. A welding shield is also present on the helmet. In addition, the helmet’s original carry bag and an assortment of new old stock replacement parts will accompany the helmet. Miller is now owned by Kirby Morgan. These vintage bronze helmets are now increasing in value every year as valuable collector items.
