Description
This classic vintage diving helmet bonnet (top) was manufactured by the renowned Japanese company Yokohama. This bonnet is in excellent original condition and still retains all its original hardware. The components include the acrylic ports, exhaust, spring-loaded safety pin, non-return valve, dual communications cups, old communications wiring and reproducers, and exhaust chin button.
A helmet bonnet like this one is quite impressive even on its own. This piece is free of any notable damage and has a great green patina over the tinned copper body. If you happen to have a matching breastplate, then you are in luck!
All diving helmets in this auction will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Nations Attic. The certificate will have a unique number that will match the number on a tamperproof hologram decal placed inside the helmet. This information will be kept on permanent file at Nations Attic and help ensure the provenance of the helmet and authenticity.
