Nation's Attic 2024 Diving Into History
Lot 76:
Here is a rarely found Soviet Navy divers knife with a non-magnetic copper beryllium blade. These knives were used by divers working around underwater mines and other explosives that would detonate near ferrous metals, such as a ship’s hull. The brass end of the handle does feature a AM stamp. The blade, rubber grip over the brass handle and brass sheath are all in excellent condition. The sheath still retains the leather belt loop with brass hardware. The blade measures 7.625” long. The overall length of the knife in the sheath is 12.75. The overall weight is over 3 pounds, 0.6 ounces. Please refer to the detailed photos for the overall condition. International bidders are advised that some countries do not allow the importation of knives. Nations Attic is not responsible for shipping charges going or coming back if your country’s customs denies delivery. Rejected items can be consigned into a future sale as there are no refunds.
All items will be shipped with a signature required upon delivery and full insurance either via FedEx or the USPS Priority Mail. Worldwide shipping is available; however, no ocean freight will be offered on large items. DHL Express is an option for international shipments under 600 pounds via air. Payment via bank wire for customers outside the USA is required. A shipping quote prior to the auction can be provided by emailing your postal code.
