This a rarer example of a Soviet or Russian Navy-style divers knife circa 1960s. The stainless steel blade features one sharp edge and one serrated side. The blade also features a serial number, 492. It is believed that only 1500 of this style of knife were produced for the Soviet Navy. A black rubber handle over brass, and brass hardware make up the rest of this piece. The thick brass sheath still retains a leather belt loop with nickel-plated brass hardware. The blade measures 7.875” long. The overall length of the knife in the sheath is 13”. The overall weight is 3 pounds and 4.1 ounces. Please refer to the detailed photos for overall condition. International bidders are advised that some countries do not allow the importation of knives.
