This is a very rare circa 1960’s United States Navy non-magnetic dive knife. Made by Imperial, only 1156 of these were made, costing $100 each in 1961! The sheath is stamped US Nonmagnetic Imperial with a non-magnetic symbol. The knife itself is stamped on the guard, Serial No. 728 / 61 Imperial and U.S. Nonmagnetic with the non-magnetic symbol present. This example is in overall excellent condition. The blade shows wear from removal from the sheath only. Considered by many as the rarest non-magnetic knife issued to UDT and Seal teams!
