This is a very nice unrestored diving helmet made by the KIM company located in Korea. This is a 3 light (windows) 12 bolt diving helmet in the classic configuration. The helmet is complete with a great patina on the copper body and brass hardware. This helmet shows all the years of use it has received, but it has not been abused. The original construction style is evident in the photos. Bonnet & breastplate thread together with ease. The faceplate is stuck with one knob missing. Internal air vents and exhaust chin button are intact. The original KIM ID tag is still present on the breastplate. This helmet has a lot of character, making it the perfect display piece!

All diving helmets in this auction will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Nations Attic. The certificate will have a unique number that will match the number on a tamperproof hologram decal placed inside the helmet. This information will be kept on permanent file at Nations Attic and help ensure the provenance of the helmet and authenticity. The display stand shown in the photos is not included. The option to purchase one after the auction will be provided.
