This is a mold to make lead diving weights. This pattern is referred to as a horseshoe or chest weight. They were strapped to the diver via the helmet on the chest and back. This model, specifically, is for Schrader weights that would have been used in the 1800s and 1900s. This is a very thick heavy duty cast aluminum mold. The second photo is an example of what the mold will produce and is for reference only. The Schrader name is not part of the mold. The actual lead weight is not included.
All items will be shipped with a signature required upon delivery and full insurance either via FedEx or the USPS Priority Mail. Worldwide shipping is available; however, no ocean freight will be offered on large items. DHL Express is an option for international shipments under 600 pounds via air. Payment via bank wire for customers outside the USA is required. A shipping quote prior to the auction can be provided by emailing your postal code. International bidders are advised that some countries do not allow the importation of knives.
