Description
This is the classic United States Navy divers knife, commonly used in conjunction with the Mark V helmet. This example was made by Diving Equipment & Supply Company, aka DESCO. The brass sheath is stamped DESCO, which they did on their WWII era knives and up to 1980. The overall condition of the knife is excellent. The stainless steel blade shines with no signs of use. The wood handle and brass hardware are in wonderful condition. There are two small dents on the very end of the brass sheath. A vintage leather belt strap with a buckle is also present and is in very good condition. Please refer to the photos for additional details. All items will be shipped with a signature required upon delivery and full insurance either via FedEx or the USPS Priority Mail. Payment via bank wire for customers outside the USA is required.
