Description
This is a grouping of World War 2 era items consisting of a pair of canvas and wood dive boots, a canvas underwater tool or parts bag, and a diving helmet shoulder pad. The boots have the canvas body and wood soles only. The wood sole is not attached to one. There does appear to be a WW2 US Navy inspection stamp on one boot. This piece was recovered alongside the AJ Morse & Son diving helmet, which is also featured in this auction as Lot #87. The helmet and equipment were owned and used by the O.I. Carr Diving Company of Burlington, Vermont. An exceptional opportunity to acquire a piece of Vermont’s maritime history.All items will be shipped with a signature required upon delivery and full insurance either via FedEx or the USPS Priority Mail.
