This is a very nice WWII combination of a DESCO stamped air control valve along with a whip made by Republic Rubber, dated August 1944. All components are in excellent original condition and perfect for display on a Mark V helmet. This piece was recovered alongside the AJ Morse & Son diving helmet, which is also featured in this auction as Lot #87. The helmet and equipment were owned and used by the O.I. Carr Diving Company of Burlington, Vermont.
