Description

This is a scarce World War II-era shallow water diving mask, manufactured by The Ohio Rubber Company in Willoughby, Ohio. Known among collectors as the Victor Berge mask, this specialized piece of equipment features a distinctive integrated brass regulator and was originally designed for rapid-response diving and shallow-water operations where time was of the essence. This specific example is in outstanding original condition, distinguished by rubber that remains remarkably flexible. The two original head straps are present and intact, and the brass regulator remains firmly seated and in excellent aesthetic condition. Masks like this were primarily used after the attack on Pearl Harbor for rescue operations. All items will be shipped with a signature required upon delivery and full insurance either via FedEx or the USPS Priority Mail. Worldwide shipping is available; however, no ocean freight will be offered on large items. Payment via bank wire for customers outside the USA is required.
